C-17 STOL On Aircraft Carrier

Looks photoshopped. Wing span would likely strike the superstructure if it tried to land, and the c-17 isn't set up to catch the wire, and if it did it would likely rip it right out.

Hmmmm.....Probably. (but, the Doolittle raid never intended to land, either :oops: )

My brother was an Army Colonel, I am a Marine so .....whatever.

Anyway, he was involved in the implementation of the C-17 into service. Lots of interesting info involved.

They did land and takeoff a C-130 though.

The B25's didn't land on the carrier. Went aboard by crane.
