Spent some range time this weekend..

Post by draperjojo »

Took a new gun(one of those weird levers with a bolt...lol) out to the 100yd range yesterday and broke it in, went back out today and ran 6 different batches of homebrewed bullets thru it to see how it would do. It seemed to like the Retumbo powder the best. There were 2 different Retumbo loads and you could pretty well cover the 5 shot groups with a quarter. Even in the 30 degree weather it was a fun way to spend a weekend with a new gun. Now to start working on the next one, a stainless Rossi 45 w/20" barrel...... :-D
