Win. 94 AE Trails End .38-55

Post by 1886 »

I have a shot at one of these LNIB. It features a 20" oct. barrel, faux case color on the butt plate, receiver, and fore end cap with nice wood. A nice rifle overall. The selling price is $700.00 firm. I feel the price is fair but I am looking at this as a short term investment and at $700.00.... I checked the auction sites and could not find one. Was the .38-55 a limited run? Etc... Are these $1000.00 plus rifles? Thanks for your thougths. 1886.

Hey Gary!!

I just bought one in 45 Colt for $650. I think the 38-55 had a shorter run but don't know that for sure. Sharp rifles, doesn't sound like a bad deal.

Later!!

1886, did you see this one? Seems rather steep price-wise to me. Chris

The 444 sits neglected in the safe along with all my other guns. 6 day work weeks, logging around my range going on after work , more snow, waaahhh! I have batches of reloads waiting to be tested for 4 guns. Maybe this Sunday if I'm lucky. Chris
