I have found 40gr. of IMR4064 with a 150gr Hornaday spire point bullet to be very accurate in my 300sav.

Mine both shoot RL-15 real well. In fact, every one I've loaded for likes it. I shoot 45 grains with 150 and 44 grains with 165 grainers (both are Corlokt). One rifle will shoot these at an inch quite a lot and sometimes smaller groups and the velocity in my 24" barrels is 2618 fps with the 165 load. The other will keep them in 1 1/2" all day long. This powder meters real well also.

I like RL15 as well. 42-42.5 grains under a 165 grain Corelokt seems to work just fine and accuracy is pretty good.
Well done is better than well said.
