My nephew and his wife are in town for the weekend and during dinner last night he told me he'd made his first firearm purchase.
He forgot to bring it with him and all he could remember was it is a Thompson .50cal 1982 commemorative. I don't recall what was being commemorated but he was certain it was 1982.
My friend Mr Google hasn't turnbed up anything so I thought I'd ask.
He bought it at a charity auction, no box, no manual, etc.
Thanks!

T/C made a limited edition Hawken called the "Cougar" that had a medalion in the stock. All of the metal that is brass on the regular Hawken was Pewter or Brushed SS on the Cougar. Good lookin rifles.
