A good find!

Post by stretch »

While diggin' around in my ammo cabinet today, I moved
a box of "assorted" cartridges and came across a brandy-new,
unopened case of Wolf 115 gr. 9mm. 8)

Sometimes it pays to be a little bit disorganized. :D

Good afternoon and Congradulations ! Always nice to find the fruits of haphazard stuffing items away. Especially when you can happily launch them knowing you did not have to pay the high prices some are asking.

I had one of those a couple weeks ago. Looking for some 6.5 Sweede ammo
and found 3000 .22lr's! Woo hoo! Haven't looked in that crate in a couple years.

I wish I was at the point of having a depot where a case of ammo could be lost and forgotten

Since The Great .22 Long Rifle Ammo Shortage of 2013 has been raging, I decided to gather together all the loose ammo, partially filled boxes, and hidden away in glove boxes, ditty bags, and range bag .22 ammo I knew was "around here somewhere." So far, I have come up with over 1000 rounds. Biggest find was two of the Remington promotion ammo packed in coffee mugs from 20 or so years back. I believe I will eventually find another 1000 or so. There are several hidey-holes I haven't completely searched out yet.

Man! Your lucky. A 50 rd box? no big deal, but a CASE. Neato. The most I ever found was .11 cents in my glove box.------6
