snow
Anyone else get snow today? What the Heck?? Had to bring in the May Day baskets so they wouldn't fill with snow, cherries in bloom so no cherries this year, will hard freeze tonight and tomorrow.
I have hunted turkeys in the snow before, but this is ridiculous.
Bright side, my 8x68s 200gr A-frames were delivered, and so were the 94gr 32 Colt NP ammo.

Re: snow
I'm in the NE corner of OK and there is snow predicted for us tomorrow. Would be the latest on record by about 2 weeks.
Lower 40s and misting/light rain today but will go much colder they say. I hope they are wrong as my fruit trees have tiny fruit set on them.

Re: snow
We got it yesterday all day pretty good and temps were low last night. Sun came out today and it's mostly gone and the dirt roads are even dry for the most part.

Re: snow
6 inches so far , still snowing. Broke a record from 1935 of 2 inches. Where is global warming when you need it.

Re: snow
We had 4" on the ground at one point this morning, now it's down to 2" or less. Hate to wonder how much it would of been had the air temp been a couple degrees less not to mention if the ground wasn't 50 deg. Driving a daughter to school this morning all I could do was laugh as I plowed thru the deep, greasy slush. Daughter thought I was nuts.

Re: snow
Hot, dry, windy. Southern Ventura County is ablaze. And I've got to drive right into it tomorrow AM.

Snow in the Heartland in May? It's crazy!
Incredibly windy this morning in Tucson but it died down by the afternoon and left us in a haze of pollen and dust. Sunset this evening looked like those sunset photos we get back from Mars - I kid you not! I don't think I've ever seen this much dust/particulate haze without fires in the area.

Re: snow
You southerners are just plain spoiled when it comes to snow! Its early May for goodness sake. I usually complain if we get an unexpected dump in July but every month is game for a blast around here.
To be fair I would simply turn to a smouldering lump of goo in your southern summers! Give me some snow once in awhile for our cool dry evenings in Calgary and never seeing 100 degrees at midnight in steam bath humidity, now that is scary.
