cabelas today

Post by Marlin32 »

I was in Cabelas in La Vista NE, (omaha) today. (and no, they didn't have everything that I was needing, but that is the norm)
Anyway, never go into one without perusing the guns.
Win. 94 "muskatoon" anniversary edition, 30/30 26" barrel, full stock
94ae 30/30 with 24" barrel
Marlin 336 ADL in 32 special, the wood is pretty used, still asking over $600
Rem Model 8 35 rem that looked in pretty good shape,
Browning 1895 in 45 colt ( low wall?)
Several Win and Browning High Walls
That is about all I can remember.

The one in Allen, TX has a large amount of .327 Federal. I have been getting PillHer some for her little Ruger. The store does not have much else other than 7mm08 and the large calibers such as .416 or bigger. Perhaps PillHer choosing the .327 and my getting a 7mm08 a few years ago was not such a bad thing.

What you up here for? If I am not escorting some youth on a turkey hunt, I will drive up there. Only about 20-30 minutes from my house. Drive by it twice a day.

Marlin32, where are you at? I'm on the Iowa side, about 30 minutes from that LaVista store. I didn't realize there was another levergunner this close.
