NEWINGTON, Conn. (AP) — A Connecticut mother has posted bail after being charged with pulling a gun and threatening another woman at a Chuck E. Cheese's restaurant.

Police say 30-year-old Tawana Bourne brandished a .380-caliber handgun and chambered a round during an argument at the children's game and pizza restaurant in Newington on Monday night. Police say both women were at the restaurant with their children.

Restaurant workers called police, who charged Bourne with reckless endangerment, risk of injury to children, threatening and breach of peace. She was freed after posting $50,000 bail and was ordered to appear in New Britain Superior Court on Feb. 19.

Bourne declined to comment.

Chuck E. Cheese's released a statement saying they are now banning weapons in its restaurants and managers are evaluating security.

What a chicken poop over-reaction!

That will stop em! :wink: Ours actually has a bar next to it. Step 1. Drop off animalistic wild child at Chuck E Cheese. Step 2. Get sauced at the watering hole while children romp unattended, spread fthe latest virus/flu and eat easy bake oven Pizza. :?

and i thought their Pizza was dangerous...should be a felony for cooking pizza that bad and charging that much...i think the rat logo should be a clue... :)

Banning them because even a sane man will likely shoot himself if he had to be trapped in a Chuck E Cheese.

Our local Chuck E. Cheese went out of business in the late 80s, so I won't have to go protest this policy. Why not just ban those people who cause the problems and let the rest of us go on about our business?
