Turkey Season starts Tomorrow, Mar. 15th, in Florida

Post by RIHMFIRE »

Well.....its been a long wait....
but turkey season is finally here...
Camper is all packed and ready to go...
Remington 1187 action is oiled and ready to sling 3" mags.
Gonna bring a 9422 and a 44 mag also...The 44 mag is for
the bears...they have been getting a little braver.....
Gonna cut out of work early today and head to hunt camp..
Why is it that every time I'm getting ready to take some time
off .....every so and so wants something done right away....
Told the boss yesterday....
POOR PLANNING BY CLIENTS AND YOUR PART
ALWAYS ENDS UP AS AN EMERGENCY ON MY PART....
GET YOUR BUTTS IN GEAR.....
He did'nt say much to that.....cause he knows I'm right..
But got the work done anyway....Architecture....Architorture
Definately need the break!
Filled up the F-350 this morning with diesel.....
@ 4 bucks a gallon $#!&...88 bucks ouch

Gonna have to park the monster...only 15.4 mile per gallon
and buy a 4 banger...

To all of you heading to the turkey woods
GOOD LUCK

I won't be able to hunt until April 28th in Massachusetts and May 1st in Connecticut. I have been practicing my calling to warm up though.
