Danged New Cameras Just Won't Hold Together

Post by Sixgun »

Can't figure this out. I went to use my Kodak camera and the thing just fell apart in my hands. :D

You younguns here on the board don't remember the time that when we bought something, it was good for life. Too much money nowadays.

Yea, I know, Colt grips on the Ruger O.M. Its my "yard gun".---------Sixgun

Come to think of it, I haven't had a good bulletproof camera in years.

I've had a few items suffer a similar fate over the years.

A padlock that broke of the only key I had for it finally opened with the persuasion of a 7mm Remington Magnum at about 10 yards.

Hm. It appears to be unstable when exposed to moving lead. That's strange...

I can certainly understand the reason for that failure! At work we had this one server (computer) that we really really hated. We were discussing using it as the counterweight in a defective (by design) trebuchet! The idea being that everytime we shot the trebuchet the server would hit the ground HARD! Never did quite get around to it after the servers retirement :(

Yes, I had it on "self timer".............me! :D

I really can't complain as I did log close to 5,000 pics out of the camera to which I only paid something like a buck and a quarter several years ago.

When I was a little kid (maybe 6 or 7) I remember my mother telling my father that she has never seen such a destructive kid as me. "He smashes everything he don't like", she used to say. Some attributes never leave an individual. :D -------------Sixgun
