PRAYER REQUEST - Having a Rough Week!
My son let us know that he is moving to North Carolina with our grandkids which is 9 1/2 hours away. The company I work for is laying off 10% of it's workforce tomorrow. I'd appreciate your prayers.

North Carolina is really a wonderful place. Our son is a Navy man and he was stationed there. We visited [from Texas] many times and it was great. Many things to see and do there. Where ever he is ordered to go we look forward to the adventure of going on a visit. We enjoy spending time with our son his wife and of course our grandson. I think you should also look forward to visiting. As far as your job, sometimes that turns out alright also. Which ever way it goes---good luck and enjoy.

We'll keep you in our prayers. I think some of us didn't realize just how bad the economy is getting, I know I didn't. I just found out from a friend of mine today that he has lost 50% of his customers from this time last year. They've just gone out of business.

Your prayers are my pleasure.
I know the feeling of having kids move away, and I know it is only reasonable that they take the grandkids with them. At one time only one grandchild lived less that about 575 miles away (3 grandchildren). The other 6 lived in south Florida; IIRC, about 1250 miles away.
Personal experience shows that this condition can change.
Prayers have been sent.
Grace and Peace.

I made it through the layoff ok, as did my boss and my assistant. The one kid that worked with us was transferred to another department which was also excellent IMO.
Thanks for your prayers. I'm still really bummed about losing my family, but I'll get by some how.

Praise the Lord! Glad to hear you're still on.
I know the day will come sometime when my son will move away too. I know when it does it will hurt, cause we're friends. As a mater of fact it makes me take a deep breath just thinking about it now.
I guess one of us is going to have to grow up, It might as well be me.
