new shoes

Post by Mescalero »

I went to buy new shoes yesterday, when I got there I looked around for the foot measuring device and unable to find one I asked the salesman for one.
He informed me I could use it, but it would do me no good " all shoes are different, the measuring device is not accurate" .
I found my size, asked for the shoe I wanted; in that size, tried them on ,purchased them and left.
Now I have no idea how he was going to determine the proper size for me, perhaps a SWAG, or just keep trying untill he found the right ones.
But for Pete44ru I am pretty sure they are double mil-spec. :o

Thet's only 'cause I'm naturally fat on thet side............

Besides - since most of the shoemakers shifted production from Maine to Macau (China), good feet are hard to come by. ;) .

I think Blaine is just "stringing" us along like a "heel" with no "sole".
