Bought a gun from a friend at work today PIC ADDED

Post by barbarossa »

A friend at work asked me if I would be interested in buying a gun he had and not to be one to turn down an offer without looking at it said sure I d take a look.It turned to be a near new
win94/22 mag with the laminate stock.I m not one for laminate wood but this little gun sure was pretty. He told me he had it for quite a while and only fired a couple of boxes through it, he s ore of a shotgun guy.I couldn t resist it so I took it home.I ll try and post pics of it tomorrow.

Forgot to mention I also got with the got with the gun a new williams reciever sight and replacement front sight as well.In the pic there is a slot blank as the original owner had a scope on it.I have the factory rear sight as well which I recently put back on it.

Sweet! Looking forward to the pics. Green huh.... who cares? :P That's a great score - you can always sell the stock and put another one that you like on it...

great rifle--great cartridge--why did USRA/Winchester go belly up (I understand they had issues, real issues)--miss having them as an option--so strange to be looking at Rossi, Uberti, and such... :)
