Re: Case Hardened 9422 Magnum
CDNN was clearing those out for $499 just before Winchester announced the closing. They immediately sold out and prices jumped to the $900 range. We recently sold a plain jane 9422M sans box for $750.00. Those CCed 9422s get a bit of a premium. Dittos for the Trappers and CCed Trappers.

Hey Guys, Thanks for the info, I was thinking about keeping it it the truck. While digging I also found a 629 and a 22 magnum Colt with the same story. Maybe I will find some more good stuff today as I clean.

You "find" stuff in your safe that you don't remember buying? Wow. I'd like to see your safe
I definately wouldn't use that nice 9422 as a truck gun...

It sounds pathetic and it is but a lot of this is stuff I picked up because it was a good deal or thought it was. I clean them up and put them in a bore store. Then I pile or cram them into a safe, thinking that I will have time to play with them later and forget all about it. Seems pretty simple to me.

I have a 9422 LR and trapper LR still NIB, but not the 22 WMR. I'd love to have a NIB one to go along with the LR's! I didn't remember the WMR's at CDNN.

Trust me, it isn't that simple. I have misplaced guns for a couple of years, but I knew I had them and knew I misplaced them. But I never forgot I had one.msmith1228 wrote:It sounds pathetic and it is but a lot of this is stuff I picked up because it was a good deal or thought it was.
