This would be a cool thing to put on your Christmas-list...!

Now, I wonder if you could modify it to work with a couple Mini-14's, and use those 90-round magazines they make...

I once saw a quad version using 4 SKS's, two up to down SXS.
The crank turns a 4 lobe cam over the triggers.

I don't believe they are illigal in MA. It's just that Sportsman's Guide will not ship anything even remotely controversial to MA. They won't even ship knives to MA.

Yeah, I was just sort of kidding, building on my earlier post about the .22 LR 'Puma' 1911 that BudsGunShop.com said was 'not legal' in a bunch of states.rbertalotto wrote:I don't believe they are illigal in MA. It is annoying how some companies just won't ship to some places where the product in question is actually perfectly legal, but I can understand from a business standpoint why they don't want to hassle with vague and conflicting laws that are often enforced over-zealously.

Sportsmanguide is based in MN so you`d think they could sell them here.
Though MN does have some weird laws, was in TX a couple years ago and they couldn`t sell me any kind of gun because i was from MN.

Sadly, you can thank the folks in Minneapolis/St. Paul for that (and more to come) buffoonery.Pitchy wrote:Sportsmanguide is based in MN so you`d think they could sell them here.

At any rate, I think I must have one of these!! It'll be great for taking the boys out and having fun. Get some .22LR tracers.

Re: Gatling Kit - (only prohibited in CA, IA, MN, DC, & MA)
It used to be you could only sell handguns to a state resident and long guns to a state resident or resident of a contiguous state. I do not recall if that was a state or Fed regulation. I believe that has changed within the past year or two to allow long gun sales to any US citizen that is able to own one. Now if someone buys a rifle not legal in their own state while out of state, I don't know whose feet get held to the fire.Pitchy wrote:Though MN does have some weird laws, was in TX a couple years ago and they couldn`t sell me any kind of gun because i was from MN.
It also appears the age for buying a handgun have been lowered at the Federal level to 18. The Boy wanted to buy a pistol at 20 and I said he couldn't. The store said he could as the rules had recently changed. I didn't call bull right then, but I did come home and search the ATF regs. I found references to not being able to possess a handgun under 18 without "adult" supervision but nothing about someone under 21 not being able to purchase one.
I figure it's the store's derriere that will be in a sling, not mine, if they are wrong.
Nothing so needs reforming as other people's habits.

I think one of those could get expensive to shoot right quick. I know it would actually. But the fun factor would be enormous.

They are not illegal/prohibited in CA. However, some retailers won't ship them to CA as "rbertalotto" said about MA.AJMD429 wrote:Yeah, I was just sort of kidding, building on my earlier post about the .22 LR 'Puma' 1911 that BudsGunShop.com said was 'not legal' in a bunch of states.rbertalotto wrote:I don't believe they are illigal in MA. You said to "rbertalotto" that you were just sort of kidding, building on your earlier post, etc, etc, etc.
That's not something to kid about.

What really got me was i couldn`t even buy a BP gun, guy looked in a book and MN was listed as a no no.olyinaz wrote:Sadly, you can thank the folks in Minneapolis/St. Paul for that (and more to come) buffoonery.Pitchy wrote:Sportsmanguide is based in MN so you`d think they could sell them here.

Just to be sure it wasn`t a store issue i went to another gun store and they said the same thing. Agrivating feeling to say the least and made me mad.
Wonder if it`s because MN considers a AR15 a asult weapon that you need a buyers permit or carry permit to buy.
I asked the sheriff here about it and he didn`t have a clue.

That's most likely the reason. An FFL in TX can't sell you a firearm in violation of your own states laws.Pitchy wrote:What really got me was i couldn`t even buy a BP gun, guy looked in a book and MN was listed as a no no.olyinaz wrote:Sadly, you can thank the folks in Minneapolis/St. Paul for that (and more to come) buffoonery.Pitchy wrote:Sportsmanguide is based in MN so you`d think they could sell them here.

It's not TX law preventing a Minnesota resident from purchasing a firearm in TX. I buy long guns in other states sometimes. They always have to check their store notes to see if a TX resident can purchase on in their state.Minnesota Firearms Laws wrote:Purchasing or Transferring a
Pistol or Assault Weapon
A person who wishes to purchase a pistol or assault weapon
from a federally licensed firearms dealer must either obtain a
transferee permit from the local police chief or sheriff or
submit to a background check to determine eligibility to
possess the weapon. A person need not obtain a transferee
permit if the person already possesses a valid permit to carry
a pistol. Minn. Stat. §§ 624.7131; 624.7132
