Yep. You'll like it here. Seems that 'levergunners' have created a site with less ego and one-upsmanship than on the bolt-gun or semi-auto forums, or the 'one-brand' forums. Whatever the reason, here there's friendly folks who likely share many of your other hobbies and interests.

30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

Thanxs for the warm welcome. I've been a hunter and competitive shooter for 52 years, give or take. I started in the old DCM program growing up "back east", then skeet and bird hunting.
I moved west as soon as I could, and after playing the tumbleweed for a few years have settled in Wyomings Big Horn basin. I currently compete in NRA high power rifle with the AR and Garand, But hunt with lever guns. I've been a handloader all my life, but never a caster. I expect THAT to change this winter, as I've begun to gather together the stuff.....work wise, I'm kinda sorta retired, but keep busy with my farm and casual jobs. Sorry, no pictures. I'm not that well versed in computor useage.
