Thanks Goatguy.My wife likes the winter fur.That picture was taken last Deer hunting season after 2 months of razor lapse.I only sport the fur during hunting season.The rest of the year its a cleanshave with a crewcut because of the Bama subtropical humidity.

Man I have enjoyed this. Spent all afternoon looking at "FACES" Some were no surprise, some were Shocking,some were pleasant to look at & some were very pleasant to look at. This Thread reminds ME of a time back in the 70s when CB Radio was popular. Sit and talk to GUYS for hours. When I went to My first Break was I surprised. Those Power D104s made a Guy sound Very Big.
I have been wanting to c something like this. Glad someone dug it Up although there r some faces that seem to be lacking.
I"ll put one up of ME last week camping at Dillon Beach. THE Cigar is not the norm for Me. A Friend in camp bought a pack of Backwoods and the setting just seemed Right.

Thanks - Big Charley was the largest Mastiff we ever had - and we showed them about two and one half decades. In that pic of him being a lap dog he weighed 249#. Unfortunately, he came down with Degenerative Myelopathy - canine MS - and when he couldn't use his hind legs, had to be euthanized.

Heart breaking - we had just lost his little 205# sister Katie (sweet & feminine) a few months before to bone cancer - neither reached 6th their birthday.

Then we downsized to Kyla - the sweetest little rescue dog I'd ever seen - she's actually a mix of Boxer and ??? Physically, she's a Boxer but she thinks and acts like a Terrier - so we settled on her being a "Boxerrier".

Thanks for noticing her beauty - I had a Sirrah Crest Boxer I showed some in mid 50s when I was doing my second tour - Korean War - Ch Bang-Away of Sirrah Crest was BIS at Westminster in 1951. She was sweet but Kyla is in a class by herself.

No kidding, in the 80s the way I wore my hair and all, I was constantly taken for Robert Palmer particularly if in an airport or big city. I don't look anything like that now, but I probably still look better than (RIP) Palmer does.

Actually no. Our picture was taken at Solvang, CA, a Danish community in the Santa Ynez Valley, near where they make Anderson Split Pea Soup. As to meeting on the field of battle, I'm not a re-enactor as such, just someone who remembers the gentile ways of the deep south. Have I mistaken you, sir for another?
