Danny, took a hike with my three yearold son yesterday. Lots of snow on the mountains up here, the fall colors where awsome! I missed a grouse from twenty feet with the sks, should have grabbed the shotgun out of the car for our walk. Saw trout in a stream and walked halfway across a beaver darn. The grouse was the highlight for us though. "Don't worry Daddy we will get one next time", he said after the bird flew off.

Heck, it'll soon be back to one of the two seasons I gotta idle my truck all night long. Been wonderful the last few weeks, sleeping in the peace and quiet (when some idjit with a reefer ain't parked next to me)! Snow chains and icy roads. Wish all you guys goin' huntin' this season the very best of luck and good weather (whatever you think that needs to be)!

Here's the peaks over Flagstaff last Sunday. After a cool early October, We've had a warm spell in Arizona since, so this may be largely gone by now, but definitely 'tis gettting to be the season.
