A Man's breakfast

Post by Poohgyrr »

A few years ago, they said bacon and eggs were bad for us. Well, I like my bacon sliced thick please:

Yep, right up to the moment the arteries in the heart plug off. Still, it would be nice.

Deer steak and gravy ain't half bad for supper, either.

Looks like an "Atkins approved" breakfast

The theory is when your body enters a state of ketosis --- it starts burning up protein derived fats more efficiently too and doesn't build up --
I actually like an occasional piece of bread or a potato too much to succeed with this plan though --- evidently, you go on one pizza binge and it can wreck 2 or 3 weeks of trying to get into the ketosis zone
