OT: Scope Bags by J Miller
Just want to share my custom scope bag made by J Miller in exchange for couple of bags of 30-30 brass that I was selling in the classified section:
And here is his link that has the info about the bags:http://www.rugerforum.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=31930.
I had my choice on material, size, color and draw string. The bag is well made I chosen felt just love the feel of it and scope fits perfectly like a glove. From email exchanges to exchanging the goods, this was first class all the way! I see myself ordering more in the future.

Re: OT: Scope Bags by J Miller
an obvious hoax - J Miller won't have scopes in his house, so how could he make a bag for one?
It would be anachronistic for someone to make scope bags when he doesn't like scopes and doesn't own any scopes.
I'm on to you...

el Chivo, Griff,
You guys make me laugh
I actually have two scopes, here's a pic of both of them: Please notice neither of them is actually on a rifle.
Holster makers use dummy guns to make holsters, I use a couple of old scopes for my bags.
There, I'm exonerated.

Without an end to them, the bbls would fall out of the bag...J Miller wrote:Oooo they would, wouldn't they?? Hmmmm there might be no end to this.2ndovc wrote:You know those would make nice spare barrel bags for T/C's too.

Re: OT: Scope Bags by J Miller
Another thought Joe, is make a bag/cover that will go over the scope while it is installed.

How long, how big around, what kind of material, what color ...... do you want?
PM or email me and we can discuss the details if you want.
(Note: besides felt we have cotton and even have some camo patterns.)

Re: OT: Scope Bags by J Miller
pick up a box of those disposable overshoes worn for working in a clean room. They are like rain shoes with elastic around the opening. Or try those hat protectors they issue to cops.41 Redhawk wrote:Another thought Joe, is make a bag/cover that will go over the scope while it is installed.
What I am going to try is to shrink wrap the scope (I have shrink wrapping stuff). Perhaps just the ends - tape on and shrink with the heat gun. Shouldn't noticeably affect the optics, so I can leave it on to keep the scope clean.
