OT a little. Has anyone tried Ted Nugent's brand of coffee?

Post by piller »

I saw an ad for Ted Nugent's coffee and wondered if anyone here has tried it. I like coffee, and if the price is reasonable, and if it is good coffee, I would buy some to support what he does.

Well Ji it figures a bunch from New York would buy into that. Look at all the other fecal mater they buy and call it good.

As to the original question I've never heard of it before. I buy coffee at my local Dunkin Donuts shop and get 4 pounds for $19.95. Where did you see the ad for Ted's coffee?

If it would make me half the man "Uncle Ted" is I'd buy/drink it every day even if it tasted awful

Ted hooked up with some executives from Evelyn Bay Coffee Co. aka Evelyn Bay Coffee Roasters and got interested in creating his own blends. He mixed and matched their select coffees for flavors that interested him and noted the ratio of the mixes. Evelyn Bay tried the blends to determine if there was a uniqueness about them that they do not offer in other blended products and agreed on some (I think 5). Ted provided licensing for the "Nuge" branding and logos and entered into a contract. I think he did a good job. I've had the Fred Bear one and the Hunt Blend one and they were quality coffees with competitive prices. Nothing wrong with trying some to see if you latch on to one you like.

OS
Problem is the gals seem to just gravitate to you.
Hey, 2 years ago at Tags(Big Flats,NY)went to Uncle Ted's concert(played for 3.25 hrs)and this guy with a mohawk haircut about 25 was yelling in my ear to stand up(this was a reserved seated section??No one except him was up?
After about several minutes I was about ready to rock and his friend said "Dude,he's smashed and just got back from Iraq.
My wife got so mad his screaming she turned around and said(my husband is going to kick your a##
He put his arms around me and said"Bro you look like a big rugged oak tree and if you stand up everyone else will
Wife actually got really mad at me and I said (their is no way on God's green earth I am going to pop this young marine (home on leave)at a Ted Nugent concert saluting our troops.
After another beer I was standing up with him(thank God the others started standing too)
His concerts are absolutely wild!

Never heard of his coffee until now. My wife & I were at a Nugent concert probably 10 years ago and I enjoyed the stage props (machine guns, etc.) as much as the show. He is one wild man! No flashers that I was aware of.
