I'm so very sorry. But in that case there really wasn't anything else to do.

I'm very sorry Pokey. Tough to exaggerate just how much our pet sidekicks mean to us.

Sorry Pokey  When dogs die, it hurts more than 999.9% of people.

We lost 3 last year but they did live a long life and lived better life than most people---warm in the Winter and cool in the Summer--always food, water, treats, and lots of room to run around in. Helps to ease the pain when you know you gave them the life of a King's dog. :D -----------------Sixgun

Condolences, I lost my dog a year and a half ago, cried like a baby. She was 14 1/2, faithful companion. My daughter got married a few weeks ago, on a slide show was a picture of her with that dog when both were younger, made me cry then too.

I know your pain.

Sorry to hear this... At least it doesn't sound like there was a lot of prolonged suffering for your little pal.

Just a couple weeks short of a year of having to put my Lab down.
She was almost 16 and my best friend in the world. The emotions it brings up still
catches my off gard.

Just never easy but our lives are so much fuller for having known them and given them
good homes and our love.
