I'm so jealous of your fine revolver and your gun laws!

Now that is a sidearm to be reckoned with!

A Bisley Ruger and a matching-caliber levergun is to me the most vital and practical part of any battery for just about any location and circumstance other than out-and-out combat.
(Then I'd still prefer a 1911 and an M1A.)

Aw phooey! I opened this thread expecting to see a pic of a 3 screw Vaquero like these:
My dream guns web.JPG
but instead I find it's only a typical Bisley Vaquero.
Such a let down.

OK, all joking aside you got a nice Bisley Vaquero there. Should shoot really great.

But, it's not an "Old Model" by any stretch of the word. All Vaqueros are New Models. Even the pre-2005 versions.
Vaquero or New Vaquero, that's all that needs to be said.
OK, I'm off the soap box now.

They make an excellent pair...

Oh, and before somebody comes along to correct you, it's an 'Old Vaquero' that just happens to be a New Model ;)

I think this guy was the Director of Model Designations at Ruger, when the 'New Vaquero' was dreamed up.
