Not sure what it says about me, but the dog is what I noticed first.

Just curious: are there any males on your planet?

My little Halloween poem for ya'll by----- yours truely! :D

"From the trees their leaves begin to fall with colors of brown, yellow and shades of red to be seen.
There's a chill in the air,the time for hunting and for Halloween.
Tree leaves like sparse tiny rain drops take their journey down to the ground, enriching our earth's soil with a gentle softness and sound"
Now, there are those that gather up these leaves, whether it's for tidiness or for fun.
But the fun for most on this site, is the shooting of their loved levergun!

Happy Halloween "in advance" Levergunners!

Guys on the planet - oh sure! I just thought you would rather look at the girls. If you look close, the buck is in the back of the truck.

BTW, here is 1965 Model 88 in 243 that took the buck and a Thomas Wilson knife of Shear Steel from Sheffield, England that Charles, the guy in the hat, used for some of the skinning, carbon steel forged no doubt.

gk look up the history of the Thomas Wilson company which may be John Wilson his son. They stopped making these in the 1930s at the latest. I also have knives of this nature from my grandfather's farm almost 100 years ago with no maker but carbon steel forged with stag steel. Another thread, have to find the models though.

Semper Fi - we are talking carbon steel here. Tempered Blades etc. A pic of your sword would be in order - we here are proud of that and look forward to your return to the SoCal shoot.
