The Ranch Dog website says that the 165 gr. .311 dia bullet was made for the Marlin 336 in .30-30; has anyone here tried it in a model 94 Winchester. If so were you satisfied with the results.
Tks,

Re: Ranch dog 165 gr. 30-30 question
I just loaded some up with this bullet for my pre64 94 but have not shot them yet. But everything looks real good dimention wise and and they cycle perfect. I ran them through a Lyman 4500 without using the check seater as the shank was not oversize and it was not needed. The tumble lube grooves filled well and look good.

Thanks guys,
I look forward to reports for this bullet especially when used in the pre'64 model 94. I'm thinking seriously about buying this one pending good reports. I like the wide meplat on this bullet.

I use 'em with gas checks and 30 grains of H4895...absolutely dead nuts accurate with either my '94 Win or my Glenfield 30a.
