32-20 brass Rem or Win?

Any preference between Rem and Win 32-20 brass?

I use both Remington and Winchester .32-20 brass. The Winchester seems to be a bit less prone to case mouth splits after several reloadings, but either brand can be reloaded quite a few times before a case gives out. I do make a point to keep the brass seperated by brand, but have not noticed any difference in load performance. I think either brand will serve you well.

I've reloaded my Winchester brass eight times without losing a case. Except in the grass.
I have heard that the Remington brass is slightly longer. I think the Speer manual mentions something about it.

My research has confirmed this is true. Length goes Rem, Win, and Starline the shortest. Starline is fine brass but lots of guys are saying the Rem and Win is suitable as well.

Especially for the .32-20, in order of toughness- Starline, Winchester then Remington.

bob my 73 likes rem brass its a bit longer & works better in the old nut cracker tool have up to 15 loads on some brass . have to use lee fcd cuz i think cases are shorter than theywere 125 years ago ollogger

From my experience shooting maybe 2-3000 rounds thru my Marlin, do whatever you need to do to get the Starline, you'll be happy you did.
