the combine harvesters running taking the wheat off, just what I have been waiting for to go night shooting fox and I can not because,,,,,,,

on the way work yesterday morning a little heifer calf suddenly ran in front of my car (the car I use off road to hunt the fox) at 50mph and nearly caused the car to roll. Killed the heifer out right!

Looks like the car may be wrote off as it is too damaged for economic repair, great!

Been a good little car, brought five years of heating logs home and about £1200 worth of rabbits harvested with it so it had paid for itself and then BAM!

Hope you were not hurt. They make sheet metal everyday a new you is a little harder to replace. What kind of car was it? Sounds like you should keep ypur eyes open for a little pick up truck.

Glad you're OK. Is there any chance the owner of the heifer will help with the cost of the replacement?

As others have said, cars can be replaced, but you can't be. Glad you are ok.

Folks have been saying sue for this and that but I ain't like that but I may have to sue for the shortfall on the replacement and loss of earnings etc.

It was a nice hereford heifer too, glad it was switched off quick.

It has put a cloud over me all week but i'll get over it.

Got out the other night under some canada geese and got two, everyone at work today has gone home with some goose burgers :D
