Hoosier Newbie
Howdy Folks,I have been lurking here for a long time and finally got registered. Must say that the confirmation code is a dandy to read-took a few tries to get it right.I am a native Hoosier from north central Indiana and have had a life long interest (passion) for levers and single shots if they have levers. I also have been casting for more years than I remember
and the same for reloading.
A Hoosier Newbie
and the same for reloading.

Maybe we get enough of us Hoosiers on here, we can kind of take the place over. . .

Re: Hoosier Newbie
Welcome to Leverguns. I live south/west of Huntington near S.R. 105 on the north side of Salamomie Reservoir. Hit Marion quite often (Lowe's,Sirloin Stockade,etc.). We may have even crossed paths a couple times at the 5 Points Mall gun show if you've been there. Maybe we'll "bump" into each other soon.
I am also familiar with the Dugger area. I was born and grew up across the Wabash in Il. Been to a couple of the Dugger strip mines in the past and met machinegun guru Kent Lomont when he used to live in Indiana, and several other folks would bring their "toys" for a day long shoot, until the owners of the mines began to receive complaints about "fear & noise" and they closed the access roads. Both of our children were delivered by Dr. Betty Dukes of Dugger.
It's a small world.

Ah, Dr. Betty and Dr. Joe, Nurse Hattie and Phillip the office mgr. What a crew:) They were the best. Until Dr. Joe started getting older. Cut my hand in a school play rehearsal once and they took me over to the Sullivan County Hospital. Dr. Joe was on call that night. When he came in he started cleaning the wound, then proceeded to put 3 stiches in. After the second stich he looked at me and said "I didn't numb your hand did I? Through clenched teeth I said No Dr. Joe. he looked at me and said, "well I only have one more to go, wanna do it. I was laughing so hard I said "go ahead"
I think between the 2 of them they delivered most of the kids in the county.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
