Looking for specs on Browning/Winchester Mioku 92?
My rifle will be in transit for awhile so I'm hoping to get specs for the 32-20. Anyone know the barrel twist?
Also has anyone ever slugged a 32-20? Wondering what the groove diameter was and the throat dimension?

WELL SHUCKS BOB. I HAD ALL THE DATA YOU NEEDED READY TO GO RIGHT DOWN TO THE NUMBER OF ATOMS IN THE REAR SIGHT BASE THEN REALIZED WHAT WITH YOU BEING A CANUCK AND ALL I NEED ALL OF THIS STUFF IN METRIC FORM. I SHOULD BE BACK TO YOU ON THESE CONVERSIONS BY KWANZA DAY....LET'S SEE....OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD...THE TWIST WOULD/SHOULD/COULD BE I IN 457.2 MILLIMETERS.....

That's about 1:18 or 1:20 isn't it Terry?
BTW, trying to do the conversion in my head made my nose bleed.

I grew up educated in the Queen's English and Imperial Units of measure. That was when you guys had the funny tiny quart and gallon thing going on. I can still estimate how many rods a tree is from a fencerow and how many stones I weigh.
Of course we all are amazed that our fine nieghbors have not joined the rest of the world yet in metric measurement. And people call us of Scots heritage stubborn!

Even though they are both made by Miroku the Browning and the Winchester 92's are two different guns. Some parts interchange but many don't.

Thanks Steve,
I tried customer service at Winchester Browning. Won't do that again!
I guess it will be one of the pleasures of a new gun. Learning all about it and slugging the barrel and chamber.
With border delays it looks like delivery will be close to summers end or early fall.

Why do we have to be like "the rest of the world"? I can't speak for anyone else, but I like it the way it is because it confuses the French.

Finally, someone has come up with a good reason for avoiding the metric system.
