I once sent my Mother a similar schedule via email. About 5 mins later she called me and asked if I had given my wife a copy of it. I told her no and asked why. She replied that she had to put up with me, somewhat at least, my wife didn't.

Quick family story from my Mom. She was a fine God fearing Christian but suffered from pschzoprehenia. She worked at Goodwill and the girls discovered a plaque that said "I'm pschzoprehenic and so am I".

She told me this joke to cheer me up as I was suffering from too much whiskey and too little prayer at the time. So I told her this story I had just heard at a meeting, There was a woman at an AA meeting complaining bitterly she was phyzophrenic, an old rounder from the back shouted out, "Heck of a lot better than drinkin' alone".

God works in wonderful ways.

My ex-wife, the PhD, is admittedly mathmatically challenged. Once early in our marriage she was trying to figure the dost of something including tax. She was laboriously figuring the amount of the tax and then adding it to the sale price.

When i told her,"Baby, why don't you simply multiply the price by 1.07 (7% sales tax)? That will give you the tax included price in one step."

She didn't believe me even after trying it several times both ways.

Many months or perhaps it was several years, she was attending some sort of class. One of the problems they had to work on involved figuring after tax costs of stuff. The instructor told them to multiply the cost by 1.08 (8% sales tax) to get the final figure.

Later she admitted to me that she'd told the instructor,"I wish you hadn't told us that. Now I'll have to admit my husband was right about something."

My wife would rather be poked in the eye than admit I'm right about anything. To end an argument about anything all I have to is say "Wanna bet?" The payoff is mutually beneficial, but she hates to lose.
