Interesting. Lop 4" off the barrel and I'm more interested... ![Mr. Green ](./images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif)

Nothing so needs reforming as other people's habits.

Re: 1892 in 45 ACP
Got to be a misprint because Rossi USA doesn't list it. I'm betting its a 45LC and whoever listed it doesn't know the difference between LC and ACP. Looked again at its p/n (52003) and its a 45LC not what they listed.

Not to take this in a different direction but has there ever been a levergun chambered for a cartridge that headspaces off of the case mouth??? 1886.

Not only a misprint, but another clue is that ACP--even if it were a new chambering--it would be more than the 12+1 capacoty they're showing for a 24"-- vs a .45LC or .357, .44 etc., it'd be more like 13 or 14+1...maybe even 15! Those fractions of inches difference add up.
Re: 1892 in 45 ACP
Bud's lists a Rossi 24" lever in 45ACP. Capacity is 12+1. Capacity of their 24" 45lc is 10+1. Maybe.

Bud's is either wrong or there's a plug (real or on paper) because of Kahlifornication. The 20" carbines have always been 10 in the tube for the magnums, .44-40 and .45LC.(11 with 38 and 44 Specials), and 12 for the 24" (non-specials). My 24" .44 Mag is 12. The 44 Mag is close enough in cartridge length to the .45LC that the Rossi (actual) capacity spec is the same, always has been.
Later ED:
Bud's is a great shop but online sites out there are notorious for inaccuracies--or if theirs is California-plugged, they should state such. Check out Davidsons for the more correct spec:

Later ED Pt 2: And to Bud's credit, they show the following statement above the erroneous ACP listing:
"Disregard caliber listing below. This rifle will chamber 45LC only."
