WHOOOOOOAAAA...HOLD YOUR HORSES HERE. WHAT 3/4" SCOPE HAS THE CAPABILITY TO WITHSTAND THE RECOIL OF A POWERFUL CARTRIDGE WHILE BEING HELD TIGHTLY IN RINGS ?? ARE YOU ASKING ABOUT 3 /4" RINGS FOR A SLIDING SCOPE LIKE A SUPER TARGETSPOT, LITSCHERT, OR WHATEVER ??? LIKE THAT MALCOME THEY'RE MAKING TODAY ??
While I don't know what scope the OP is desirous of mounting, FWIW the old 3/4" tubed Weaver 330's, 440's and my J2-5 were the standard centerfire rifle scopes of the day prior to the coming of the 7/8" tubed Lyman Alaskan and then the 1" tubed Weaver K-Series.
Besides being strong enough, my J-Series Weaver has 4 1/2" of eye relief - ample for pretty much any hat mover IMHO.
Also, 3/4" rings were made that clamped to either 3/8" rimfire grooves, or to wider 7/8" Weaver-type bases.
When I bought my J-Series Weaver, it had the 3/4"rings-to-7/8" base rings on it - so I had to use B-Square adaptors to mount it on a grooved rimfire rifle, rather than search out the correct rings, AND risk damaging the gennie wrap-around rings while removing them.
The Weaver 330 in Redfield 3/4" rings attached to the Jr. mount on my Dane Roller.. So the rifle can be returned to original config I modified the mount to screw into the the original screw holes for the rear sight... Thisaway, me old eyes get some sighting hep... to most of the folks at the range that don't know the difference, it looks old timey..BTW the action still retains most of the original nickle plate.

I DO HAVE SOME OF THAT OLD STYLE STUFF STASHED WAY BACK WHEN. NOW, I DO NOT HAVE A CLUE WHERE IT IS RIGHT NOW.
Sooooooooo,... no source,... no rings to sell me,... what the heck?
They should fit any of the Redfield/Burris/Millett/Leupold one or two piece bases that use a rotary dovetail front ring with two opposing windage screws for the rear.
Thanx Pete,...but back track a few posts above and you'll see where I told Terry that I am mounting this on a scout pic/weaver rail.
These rings need a one piece (or split) base like the old Leupold bases. The front ring needs a dovetailed cut slot to twist into and and lock,... the rear ring needs the slide in dovetail receptor with windage screws on each side, holding it in.
I know, I know - but............dagnabbit, I missed the rail post/comment Sorry about that.
What you should search for is the old/discontinued Weaver 3/4" rings that mount to 7/8" Weaver-type base(s) - I have a set in use, but they are occasionally found on sleaze-bay.
Here the type, F/A now - currently @ $20, complete with a Weaver J-Series scope.
Who knows, you might get a double-dip bargain.
