One of the other boards that I freqent, where I hosted my pics, is down - a legal battle over service I'm afraid....
So, with that unavailable, I need a place to host pics - a basic, free site. I can find one of course, but I'd like ya'lls recommendation on one that's been good for you. Again, just a basic site - I do all of the editing and such before posting...

Photobucket works ok for me. I'm not very demanding of 'features' - just want a place to post photos so I don't have to re-embed them in messages, etc. They do have 'editing' and all sorts of sharing and video and sub-albums, for those high-end users. It's FREE unless you load probably THOUSANDS of pics (I've loaded hundreds and am nowhere close to using my free allocation).
One thing - if you click 'edit' on one of your posted photos there, the site allows fast and easy 're-size' which helps if you want to make a big picture into an 'avatar' or a more levergun-friendly size that will not make your post six feet wide. That's kind of cool. I suppose competing photo repository sites have that as well.

Thanks guys. I think I'll avoid photobucket - I hate popups. The hunt one looks promising! I've posted some on Flikr - and its working so far. 100 MB per month limit - but that's plenty for me - especially since I resize em down to 600K before uploading.
