I for one would like to know a little about that nice looking scope
and see it on that big double.
It's a Schmidt & Bender Zenith 1.1-4x24. Has a #7 reticle. Just an awesome scope, unbelievably clear glass and the quick detach mount is rock solid and has returned to zero every time I've locked in place.

38-55,
Long time--no see Where you been hidin'?
No wonder I can't find any '86's! Nice!!!!!!!!! I bet that picture took some time gettin' ready---Now, wipe 'em done and put 'em away and run a oily rod down each one before you go to bed!
What caliber is the deluxe in? Also, nice 2/3rds mag and the shotgun butt. Is the top one a 28" barrel?
There's just somethin' 'bout an '86---nothing else comes close! ------------Sixgun

Sixgun, you have a great eye. Even with the poor picture you can smell out the special order guns....
Yes, that is a 28 incher on top in 40-65. The deluxe is just a 33 but letters with a lot of features. I- checkering, double set triggers, takedown, XX finish, sling eyes and rings, pistol grip rifle butt (as you know, a special order on a 33). It also sports a climbin lyman, but like many other special order sights, is not mentioned in the factory letter.
Yes, you're right. There is nothing like original Winchester 86's. In my opinion, the holy grail of lever guns.
Sure feels like a long winter this year. It might be an age thing as in being a tired, old geezer! Haha! So what better thing to do than to revert to addiction and invite your friends to join you! Right? Isn't leverporn beautiful!!!
Here are 4 pre-Garcia Sako Finnwolfs, 2 each in .243 and .308

Yo Victor,
Nice change of pace with those seldom seen Sako's leverguns. Tell me, how do they shoot? I never have been able to snag one---maybe I just looked past 'em at tables, thinking they were 88's---------Sixgun
3855, seeing all those '86s makes me happy ....... the kind of happy a man experiences when he hasn't eaten all day and then walks into a a dining room and sees huge tables of food. Beautiful collection!
