Post by Hagler »

Ladies & gentlemen,

I happened across this auction, and I thought some of you may like to see this curiousity:

...very interesting...

Those things are just Velo-Dog REvolvers. I wouldn't give as much as a $1,000.00 for all five of them along with Burghof's autobiography and six autographs

The 'main' couple characters were anti-gun socialists, so I'm glad to hear at least someone on the cast had a more genuine set of values, if his hobby/collection is any indication...

Wayne Rogers aka "Trapper John" is now a well known Conservative businessman/commentator. He appears of Fox pretty regularly. He reminds me of our own Old Savage must be like in person.

Well at least we now know that Radar isn't anti gun. That's worth something.

Good to know about Wayne Rogers - Alan Alda just makes me barf.

Anyway - to the GUNS in the post - interesting little collectibles. I posted a photo in the 'loose dogs' thread - this one is next to a North American Arms Mini-revolver:

As one who prefers 'shootables' to 'collectables', I'd rather have the NAA Mini.

Kinda neat though.
I loved that show.

A good friend of mine while working as a paramedic met Gary B. when his son had taken a fall
from a park ride if i remeber correctly.
He was really impressed with what a "really cool" guy he was.

Loved the movie. I was in Korea when I saw it. Could NOT stand the TV show.
Gary Berghoff was the only one in both.
