Decided to spend about an hour at the range on this beautiful Nov. morning.
(second shift today ) Decided to take my Model 70 243 my son intends to use
this deer season and also my 94 that I will be using as normal most of this deer
season. I’m sure not the best shooting in the world but I was real pleased with the results.
"Is that a side mount scope on that 94?"
Yes it is, and There’s enough clearance that I still am able to use
the iron sights, if I want and or need too.
"I agree with Nath, great color on the wood."
I really like the wood on that one as well,
very, very dark black walnut. (original factory finish)
That is a beautiful 94. I, too, really like the wood and its color.

LOL no group there C. Cash.
I stopped with the first shoot on that target;
Didn’t want to risk messing up that one hole center shot.
I’ve actually done that twice now with that same rifle.
That model 70 is the most accurate rifle I have ever owned.
