454 rossi jaming
Not shure if I'm posting in the right place or not but I have a rossi 92 in 454 casull that jams what it seems to be doing is when it goes to chamber a round it seems to be haning up in the cart.guide and the top of the chamber.I bought the gun used but in like new cond. When I first shot the gun it did not do this,I shot 454 and 45 cowboy loads, the next time I took it out it started doing this. The cart. guides are smooth and clean, any help would be great.

yukondog,
If it didn't jam the first time you shot it, then something has changed. Did you take it apart?
If yes, then something didn't go back together like it was originally.
If no, then something most likely came loose. Check all the action screws, especially the cartridge guide screws. Also check the loading gate screw as well.
Not being really familiar with the 92 action, that's about all I can suggest.

It's a ROSSI .454.
Dump it.

Re: 454 rossi jaming
NKJ most likely can help - he'll likely post before long, or if he doesn't maybe PM him. I really LIKE my Rossi's, so unless someone has done something really foolish to that gun and sprung the frame or something (which I wouldn't think would even cause the symptoms you're describing), then the gun should be a 'keeper' - even if it needs a tune-up.
New Rossi .454's are bringing $600-700 around here (of course it is Indiana, and it is firearms deer season in a week, but prices have been like that all year).
