Bore size, 45-70. Probably more powerful would be my 35 Whelen.

2x22, you are the first one I noticed who really picked-up on what I meant: bore size and power!

Thanks!

If you are some other Bucks Owin, then welcome to the board. If you are the same Bucks Owin, then you need to go to CastBoolits and make things right some some people.
Actually 2 people I think, but when I went to log in at boolits today I found I'm 86ed.Yes, I'm afraid I'm the culprit alright and I'm glad to get back in touch with you so I can make things right. The bottom fell out of my world about the time I did a deal with you and another gentleman who mailed me a bullet mold at the boolits forum. I handled my situation badly in that I let myself get unorganized and lost track of things while I was being foreclosed on and then evicted. Also have had no web access until very recently. But enough of excuses. I messed up and I sincerely apologize. If you'll be so kind as to PM me your particulars I'll make it right with you and put this behind us. Fair enough? Dennis

Good deal... I will send you a PM. To clear the slate with me will only cost you $10.00, for that is what I paid for those used 45-70 dies. Clear it up and I will let every at Cast Boolits know you are a stand up guy.

In the Wild West Gun, a takedown Marlin with an elongated chamber, it can do exactly what the 45-70 can do with just a bit more energy. It anchored my nilgai in hondo like lights out. In the Co-pilot package, its a perfect anywhere, any time rifle. Mine is a parkerized action and barrel, med size lever, kevlar stock, with leopold scout scope, take down. it is everything one could ever need.
My most powerful rifle, a more plan version of the Co-Pilot that I have only killed whitetails with so far. I also have a Styer Tactical in .300 Win mag with a Kahle scope an a surefire suppressor for long range use that compeats for that title.
