And here in the land of Wait-a-while I'm still waiting for it to get to the cinemas.
Its no wonder video piracy is such a popular passtime in Australia.
nralover, the answer is, "all the ones you havent seen yet"

I think the Glenn Ford 3:10 is better.

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.
History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

Not a big supporter of Russell Crow here. If I am not mistaken, he is one of the Hollywood Anti-gun **** that continually makes his money promoting violence! I may be wrong but I am fairly sure that I am not. He wont get a dime from me.

It was a site that you could go in and watch tv shows and movies for free. I havent tried it in a while. I sure hope they get it back up.North Bender wrote:What was "www.watchtvsitcoms.com" about?
I tried to open the link and the site has been shut down.
Last of the Mohicans isn't really a Western, in the sense of cowboys and injuns, but it does have injuns.
It's the movie adaptation of the Natty Bumppo series by James Fenninmore Cooper. Frontier stories about a tough as nails old settler and his Mohican companion. Some excellent reading, though the movie fell short of the actual books.
The movie is still pretty darn good.
If you like westerns, but not the spaghetti kind, see Dead Man with Johnny Depp.
There's one scene with Crispin Glover that sort of gets wordy, but after that, it gets better. There's a scene as the main charcter goes out West on a train where the other passengers on the train, (scruffy frontiersmen and trappers,) start pulling their leverguns out for passing shots at buffalo.
It's a wierd sort of movie, but well done and gritty.
Lots of deeper implications.

"Good Ol Boys" - only on VHS
"Support Your Local Sheriff" and "Blazing Saddles" for sheer lunacy, double entendres and pokin' fun @ the entire genre.
"Silverado"...
and any western w/Sam Elliiot, Ben Johnson, Clint Eastwood, the "Duke," Lee Van Cleef, Jimmy Stewart, Henry Fonda, Tommy Lee Jones, Robert Duvall and gosh... the list could just go on and on.
And don't Charles Bronson...

Fist Full of Dollars
A Few Dollars More
The Man Who Shot Liberty Vallance
The Ballad Of Cable Hough(Sp?)
The Cowboys
Are also must see's
So to be on topic is this movie worth the $20?
I haven't seen it yet so I have to ask.
