I felt the same way. After looking at the "deluxe" 1894 & 336 I just closed the page.
I know a whole lot about very little and nothing about a whole lot.
I voted for the 375 H&H. A lever gun in an old traditional African safari magnum chambering just sounds so cool. I just wonder how in the world they can pull it off. If they do it, I hope it maintains a traditional levergun appearance. That would be a dream come true!

That's right!
You would need a length of pull of about 6 inches just to work the action!

I voted for the .308. I have been looking for a Savage 99 in .308 for a year and unable to find one for a reasonable price. My Brother found one for $400.00 that is is nice shape. If marlin's PP is in the $750.00 range that would be an attraction for me. I'll pay the price for a new piece, but not a pre-owned , un-known Rifle.
I can't imagine any tubular-fed action using the 375 H&H but it could be detachable magazine fed rifle like a BLR for all we know. Any action that could handle the venerable 375 could also handle the 460 S&W most likely. So, I voted for the 375 just to further development of the lever action rifle. I have a very nice BLR in 358 that is actually pretty slick in its action thanks to Mic's touch. Best trigger out of any of my rifles.

Wonder what would happen if they necked down the 450 Marlin to .375" diameter? Wouldn't be the 375 H&H but it would have some "thump" to it. Load it with a 275gr Leverevolution bullet. I can taste the elk roast now

Why? That thing is too wimpy to kill a whitetail... Why, it's not even 40 caliber!
Just ask the guys hawking the BFWSSHBMMs (big fargin wide super short hyper belted monster magnums...)
