Re: Post a pic of your favorite levergun
That's like asking me to pick between my children - I jes' kain't do it ! !
Like my children, every one of them is cherished for what they are, and for the activities we share in.
However, just as I hunt/shoot more often with one particular child of mine than the others, so do I also use one levergun more often - this long-sought after, Winchester 9422XTR-Mag.

Impossible. But I can do it in three - 22, truck gun, and hunting gun, in that order:
Marlin 39A with Redfield sight
Winchester 94 Trapper 44 mag
Winchester 55 (1926) 30 wcf with Lyman 21

I haven't had a chance to fire it yet but as it's my latest toy and took a lot of jumping through hoops to get I'll list it as my Favorite!

Re: Post a pic of your favorite levergun
Too hard to pick just ONE. The most recent acquisition is of course always the current 'favorite' - but this one always comes back to the top of my list. Marlin 1889 in .32-20
Also - the two photos were taken about 115 years apart...
(...and yes, I'll try to find a larger picture... )
OTOH if it had to be one I've longed for, picked out, ordered, finally received, then tuned up, it would be another Marlin - XLR .444
(Note...slippers there in tribute to YK's "nice pair" threads that kept us all from upcoming-elections & cabin-fever last winter...)

I've got to get a more stylish picture of mine going, but my favorite is my dad's 1894 (the one in the middle with the big loop lever )
It is a receiver safety model and is pretty plain vanilla, --- but its hands down my favorite because of the emotional connection.

Re: Post a pic of your favorite levergun
AJMD, The top one is an 1893 Marlin in 38-55, 26" Octagon, Special Smokeless Steel barrel, born in 1904. I've had it for only 5 years, but it's taken the deer hunting slot from everything else.
The Second is a SS 16" Puma in 454 Casull that Steve (aka Nate Kiowa Jones) hopped up, then sold me about 7 years ago.
Edit: PS: Win94, that is a sweet looking 99. I better not let my wife see it or I'll have to some cosmetic work on hers.
