Golf lessons
Well fellows, time to come out of the closet. For the last couple of years I have had a little tongue in cheek operation I call Fred Harkins School of Golf. Wow, wonder how I came up with that name. We have some lessons - "soon you can be a 23 like me" and, drink light beer. We have the Fred Ex Cup with a trophy,
and tournaments with cash prizes. And, 33 dues paying members. The stroke play series is currently in a three way tie with these gents with $75 in the pot awaiting the outcome of the last event.
Which, of course all brings me to my newest student.
a big girl with a big swing. She is a psychologist - shades of Tin Cup.
Now she wants to learn to shoot rifle and handgun. I am thinking - Ruger 357 Flat top and the Marlin 1894C with open sights and the 1894 Cowboy with scope.
Bet Terry thought he had me here.
What say you fellows?

Re: Golf lessons
I started playing golf 39 years ago when I was 9 !
The only thing I have to say is I put golf in the same category with bowling and shooting pool !
All 3 are just an excuse to DRINK BEER
When I shot skeet and trap competitively I would go play a round of golf to let the steam off after a hard weekend of competition with the shotgun !

Re: Golf lessons
YK, Borregos - you fellows need to get out and SEE the cart GIRLS. But I am sure you can be involved with the beer!
Tycer - the message of Tin Cup is in part don't take golf too seriously. I personally have never thrown a club more than 47 yds.
Good form here,
and out from under the hat.

Speaking of cart girls, I was at the Dallas Cowboys golf club in Grapevine last week.
