puma 16" 44 mag

I was out of town today and stopped in a small shop and he had a SS puma 16" 44 mag nib.it just had to come home for pig hunting in the brush :D .it is made by rossi and has the safety on top.I have a mess of the 250 gr keith 429421 cast a ready to load.this should be fun.

I had a blued one. Had an attack of the dum a-- and sold it.

Very nice wood on that gun. Do the newer Rossi's all have good looking stocks? My three Rossi's are all Interarms, and could use some cosmetics.

don't know about the wood this is the first one I have seen with a safety up close.I tried my dummy rounds with the 429421 and they feed like butter thru the action :D .I have a good feeling about this one...stubby :lol: .

They are a blast. i have the same thing in .45 colt. Its lighter and handier than my Marlin 39M. All you need is a Henry .22lever to go with it.
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

250 Savage... its what the 223 wishes it could be...!

Now that I have seen one, in a photo at least, I know this will be my next buy. Can I ask what it cost? I have the full length rifle made by Rossi, an exact 1873 replica, in blued steel, .45 Colt. An awesome gun.

You seem to feed right on through that brush pretty good, Pete ! ;)

They're right nice rifles - with a decent fit/finish.

I bought a 16" .357 BrazTech/Rissi big loop a few weeks ago, and it's .45 Colt twin this week.

Have one just like it in .357. It's so handy! To me it is about the handiest gun you could have, and still be a rifle.

That .44 may kick a bit. I noticed even the .357 is a bit feisty.

I wonder if .44 Russians would feed in it. That would be cool...
