OT - A few oldies
Check out these notches. Supposedly something to do with the Spanish American War, but nobody really knows.

All I know is that they were not made in the last 20 years. Before that, who can know.
These guns reside in drawers at my father in law's house. He is not a gun person and these were left him by his father and they are oiled, wrapped in old T shirts and stashed away.
Quite interesting as I have been married to his daughter for better than 7 years now and she was unaware of them.

It is interesting how this happens in some families, isn't it. Not to steal your topic, but some families have no secrets and in some everything is a secret but most families have at least some secrets.ScottT wrote:All I know is that they were not made in the last 20 years. Very nice guns, and interesting too! Especially that round butt hand ejector! A little late for the Spanish American War though!
Pre WWI Marlins and Singleshot rifles!
