It did not follow me home, I held on tight!!
My new Marlin .338MXLR came in yesterday.
I had my dealer looking for several months now.
Very nice fit and finish and smooth action. Smoother than the last few new marlins I have bought. Now to get it fitted with a scope.
He only had one box of Hornady 200 gr ammo at $28.00.
Will have it ready long before hunting season.
Sorry , no pictures yet... New Marlin

Of all the new calibre Marlins, that's the one that would interest me the most....

Pokey, Terry at L&L got it for me. I was in no rush to get one. and like to support my local dealer/friend/fellow club member.
Pete, I could have had one months ago. (see above)
PS After owning a .308MX for a while, just seeing and hefting a .338MX cartridge is impressive. The base is larger and just feels like a lot more cartridge in the hand.

Congrats! My local place has one on the rack that I've been fondling. Price seems a bit steep though. $775 or something near that.
