When not to fix venison chili

Post by crs »

After three scotch and rocks. I splattered chili juice over the stove top, splash panel, and even on my shirt (found those little red spots this morning).
Deer chili was good though. :)

CWI will result in a harsh sentence from most Spouses...... My "drunk chili" was usually too hot to eat the next day

A can of sawdust/chips with a (very) little kerosene is pretty good fireplace starter. It makes stuff stink real bad if you try to cook with it...

Neither is deisel. Tried it once but that smell never goes away. And for your information, I was stone-cold sober but younger and stupid anyways.

Back in the old, long ago Army Days, when the parties never actually started sober, it's a wonder we didn't set entire cities on fire....I'm pleased to say I out grew those days and rarely have a beer anymore. The food tastes better, too

+1!
The elderly campground hosts came running to my rescue. I caught my shoes on fire! :D If you've never seen a drunkard with his shoes on fire, you have not lived! The good news is that my "uni-brow" was singed off!

Alcoholic beverages, Coleman Fuel, and fire just don't go together.

I quit drinking because I was running out of campgrounds that would take me!
But, I still play with fire occasionally. I sometimes wear slippers...you know, ...just in case.
