Where ya at?

Post by Griff »

Hey! Way back when... (I know, us "older" gents have issues with memorization), didn't we have a site where we put in our locations; pics and some other data. I've changed confusers since then and don't have the info in this one.

Anyone else dimly recall this?

Griff, do you mean the site with all the little balloon stickers where we live? I don't have it any more. Didn't Hobie set that up?

So what the heck happened there? Somebody go thru and pitch out the folks they didn't like? Seems odd folks who were there, on the map, and the pictures they had put up would be all gone now. :?:

People want more privacy in these uncertain times. It amazes me what some people post about themselves as to whereabouts they live and what guns they purchase and what hunting trip is coming up where they won't be home.

Although Oklahoma is home... I'm never there. Someone keeps moving this Kenworth I'm sitting in... tonight it's in Taylor, Michigan. Sucky thing is that the Taylor city composting facility sits next to our terminal... and the wind is carrying the stench past me.

True. You know, every time I roll up I95 through the DC area I get this uneasy feeling of evil in the air. I've mentioned it to my wife and she thinks I'm nuts. When she was with me out on the truck in January we went through DC, she got to see firsthand that I was agitated by that feeling I always get when near that city.

Once in the National Guard we had a convoy with 1000 guys turned through itself without road guards in downtown Minneapolis. Nobody knew where they were in that mess.
