Post by pokey »

went looking for winnies, but saw a lot of marlins.
two texans at least one of which was marked as such
on the barrel @ 450.00. two mounties one a commemorative
of some sort , 400/450$. all winchester products sky high.
saw a box of large pistol primers for 40.00!?!
didn't buy a darned thing. LOTS of people though,
couldn't hardly make it down the aisles.
careful what you wish for, you might just get it.

Pokey,

Good to hear there were so many people out anyway! The economy here in Wa. State sucks right now that is FOR SURE!

I've got a buddy, a SERIOUS trucker who hauls apples to LA, round trip every week. He just ordered a BRAND NEW KENWORTH truck and guess what, it's being built in OHIO!!!!!!! Man KW is a Seattle born and bred company. Indicative of our economy.

Hope you had a great day anyway!

Buckeyeshooter,

Yeah, but they are USUALLY building them in Seattle as well. But when tough times come, it appears that our "business UNFRIENDLY" state of Washington is the cause of KW temporarily closing the plant here and building a truck for my buddy clear back there in OHIO when usually that would be a no brainer to build here. We are just a little tired of the way Wa. State treats businesses. That is why Boeing moved their headquarters to Chicago. Our state is crazy the way they punish business and then wonder why other states recruit them away from us.

So things are a bit down here, so I'm glad to see people still turning out at gunshows. The Obama effect?? Good to see, anyway.

If I ran a gun show, I'd put up a gigantic photo of the big O and caption it, "Thank you to our best salesman!"
