I sincerely apologize for the delay on these pictures. I have been very busy but today, I had some off time and fixed my camera.
For those of you who commented on that 1926 Farmall Regular tractor that I restored, this here is a rifle made the same year. Its a Winchester 92, 25-20, made in 1926. This does have a sad story. About 10 years ago, my dad recieved word that a fellow was wanting to sell a 92 SRC. He looked him up and found out that he was an elderly retired deputy who was needing money ASAP. The rifle belonged to an uncle of his from OK and it was collecting dust in his closet. He needed the money because the health insurance he had as a deputy would not cover the kind of cancer he had and he had nobody to leave it to. My dad gave him $650 for it and a couple of weeks later, we heard the unfortunate word that he had passed away. This is one of those rifles that will never be sold again. It shoots nice and has some honest wear as the photos show so its not a safe queen or really any more valuable than another but it is still a prized possession.
Very nice! My '92 25-20 is one of my favorite rifles. One I don't think I could do without. Here's a pic of my wife with my Grandpa's 25-20. I lay the blame on him for getting me hooked.

Hard to beat those little .25-20 carbines. These are mine. The top one has a very dark bore, but shoots like a dream. Kinda beat up, but that's just the way it gets treated. The other has nicer wood and a mint bore, but the little ladder sight is not exactly the best for my old eyes. So far, I have resisted removing it in favor of a Marble's flip up.

Here's my '92 25-20. After shooting Grandpa's, I had to have one. I finally found one I could afford. It's a little chopped up, but it shoots great and I love it.

I happened to notice the earplug in your wifes ear. I am glad to see that hearing protection is important to you. I like my 92 clone from Rossi. The design is great.

Thanks for the pictures. Beautiful rifles!
I wish I could have one in that caliber too but frankly speaking I have only seen a few Winchesters Mod 92 in 25-20 here in Sweden.
They just must be a joy to shoot.
